Private lessons

About half of my private students study voice.  They consistently receive excellent and superior ratings at contest and experience freedom and growth in their vocal production. I start lessons generally in high school and am careful with the changing voice to navigate through the complexities of this stage of life.  I encourage all of my students to have a good working knowledge of music theory, and to be able to play basic chords on the piano as a part of their experience.

Currently, my piano students range from 5 to adult.  I enjoy working with beginners as it keeps me on my toes, but I also enjoy helping those who have a few years of experience and want to keep learning. Jazz piano is my specialty, and a close second is worship styles on the piano. My repertoire includes Chopin, Bach, Debussy, Gershwin and many more, and I love sharing the joy of every period of classical music with my students.
